Holiday sewing

Homemade cassarole dish cozy with zipper, it has temperature reflect fabric to keep things hot or cold. It came together easier than I thought it would, I'll probably have to make more of these in the future as I can see how it could in handy for potlucks

Dog coat: Mccalls 5723 view c , no bow, I used fleece and reflector tape. this is the large size! it fit great though.

christmas sewing

although I wasn't planning on sewing this holiday due to work and an online class I did manage a few things. a red velvet scarf with beaded edges for M, made from a remnant that i've had in my stash for years, why didn't i think of this sooner? and a fairy house purse with vinyl windows and flower box and cat waiting on the doorstep, and mini fairy with apron for R

holiday tablerunners

my latest sewing: a halloween table runner for jane s. -the jack-o-lanterns glow in the dark! (my favorite is the back fabric) I must admit I do not like applique, but is seemed the best way to get what I imagined.  the autumn one is for kirstin s. I haven't quilted in a long time but I think I miss it, I especially love the maple leave block- I think because autumn colors are my favorite.
